The organizers in Joigny have lined up a great program of activities for our students:

Sun. July 6 9:50 am11:30 am Arrive Paris Charles De Gaulle airport – Committee president Lorette Lemoine will meet you at the airport and drive by private bus to JoignyMeet families in Joigny, spend the rest of the day with your host
Mon. July 7 8 am – 5 pm Morning – Visit to the Puisaye artisan region & 18th century pottery studioAfternoon – Visit to the 3-star Côte Saint Jacques restaurant in Joigny
Tues. July 8 8:45 am – 5:30 pm Morning – Château Guedelon (reconstructing a medieval castle by hand)Afternoon – accrobranche adventure park
Wed. July 9 8 am – 6 pm Day trip to Château de Vaux le Vicomte and Domaine des Macarons de Réau
Thurs. July 10 6:30 am – 9 pm Day trip to the city of Dijon (3 hrs by train)
Fri. July 11 9 am – 4 pm

Free weekend and activities with families – Monday is Bastille Day!
Tues. July 15 9:30 am – 6:30 pm Day trip to Vézelay, a medieval hilltop cathedral town, & afternoon canoeing on the Cure river
Wed. July 16 9 am – 5:30 pm Day trip to Auxerre (free time/shopping), afternoon biking along the Nivernais canal
Thurs. July 17 6:40 am – midnight Day trip to Paris for tours and shopping!! Musée d’Orsay, Champs-Elysées, Eiffel Tower, Trocadéro, Montmartre, Sacré Coeur, dinner, walk by the Seine
Fri. July 18 – Sat. July 19
